Start free and scale when you're ready. Every performer on DragBook keeps more of what they earn — because this platform is built for you, not the agencies.
Traditional drag agencies take 20–35% of every booking. On a £400 gig, that's up to £140 straight into their pocket. DragBook charges a flat 3% protected booking fee — and that covers deposit holding, payment protection, and platform security for both you and the booker.
You set your own prices. You communicate directly with clients. You build your own reputation. We just make sure the connection happens safely and the money lands in your account.
Yes, genuinely. You can create a full profile, appear in search results, and receive enquiries from bookers at absolutely no cost. The Free tier isn't a bait-and-switch — it's a real, usable plan. We make our money from Pro and Elite subscriptions, not by charging performers just to exist on the platform.
When a booking is confirmed through DragBook, a 3% platform fee is applied. This covers secure deposit holding, payment protection for both parties, and the infrastructure that makes safe booking possible. On a £400 booking, that's £12. It is deducted from the deposit before it's released to you after the event.
Absolutely. DragBook has no exclusivity clause. You can continue working with agencies, other platforms, or through your own contacts. We're a tool to help you get more bookings, not a contract that restricts your business.
To get verified, you'll need to submit a short video clip of a live performance, confirm your identity, and confirm that you hold public liability insurance. Pro and Elite performers also have access to optional DBS check facilitation. Verification typically takes 48 hours and unlocks the Verified badge on your profile, which significantly increases booking rates.
DragBook's protected booking system holds a deposit at the time of confirmation. If the booker cancels within your stated cancellation window, you keep the deposit. Our platform enforces the terms you set — meaning no more chasing clients for cancellation fees or losing income to last-minute no-shows.
Yes. You can move between Free, Pro, and Elite at any time. There are no lock-in contracts and no cancellation fees. If you downgrade, you retain Pro/Elite features until the end of your current billing period.
